To us, corporate responsibility is more than just the commitment to comply with the laws and to be a fair market player, it is also the commitment to behave responsibly towards the environment and to contribute to the development of the community in which we operate. Our company is engaged mainly in the social area. Our efforts are targeted at helping the ones who really need help. As part of corporate philanthropy, we transfer a part of the funds obtained from the sale of calendars to the accounts of non-profit organisations.

Helma 365 brings its contribution to responsible forestry and sustainable development by producing all of the wall calendars with FSC certificate. By using printing colours on basis of natural oil, we further manage to decrease negative impacts on the environment.

ADRA Czech Republic has been supporting underprivileged children in Bangladesh through education since 1999. The BanglaKids programme provides both direct sponsorship of a specific child, and the support of entire classses located in slum areas in the capital city of Dhaka. Slums are poor neighbourhoods comprised of improvised shelters made from sheet metal, bamboo or plastic. There is no sanitation, access to water or health care. ADRA Czech Republic used to run seven schools in this region; at present, it is building an Education Centre, where children from slums learn the basics of reading, writing, calculating and hygiene. Children can also spend their free time meaningfully in the Centre. This provides a chance to improve the current situation of many children and gives them hope for a better future. ADRA is an international humanitarian organisation operating in more than 120 countries around the world. ADRA Czech Republic provides relief after natural disasters or war conflicts at home and abroad. ADRA also implements long-term programmes intended, for instance, to support education, to develop agriculture and health care, and to strengthen civil society. ADRA shares experience from activities in the so-called developing world through the educational project PRVák. This project takes place in Czech schools; its aim is to introduce the way of life in faraway countries to pupils and students. In the Czech Republic, ADRA also runs 10 volunteer centres, which select, train and send volunteers to health care facilities and social care facilities in 27 cities.
